Prom night for your school?

We organise graduation proms and after-parties in Prague, in English, from the first meeting to the last dance. Even if your school has never had one.

First prom at your school?

Students usually start it. We help them finish it.

Most international schools in Prague have never had a Czech-style graduation ball. Here's how it works and how to get your school, your parents and your classmates on board.

Your school has never had a prom? That's where most of our clients start.

In the Czech Republic, a maturitní ples (graduation ball) is organised by the students, not by the school. A class or a small committee decides what they want, picks a date and a venue, sells tickets to parents and friends, and the school is invited as a guest. International schools in Prague often don't have this tradition, so the students are the ones pushing for it.

That's exactly the situation we're built for. We work directly with the students who want it, keep parents and teachers informed, and make sure the school sees a clear, responsible plan.

How to get your school on board

Head teachers say no to vague ideas and yes to concrete plans. After our first meeting you'll get a short written proposal: the venue, the date, the programme, the budget per student, who signs the contract and how safety is handled. Most schools agree once they see it in writing.

If it helps, we'll join a meeting with your teachers or parents' association and answer their questions directly.

What a Czech graduation ball looks like

A formal entrance of the graduating classes, a sash ceremony where every student receives a sash from their teacher, a choreographed dance, a live band or DJ, speeches, a midnight surprise prepared by the students, and usually an after-party in a club afterwards. Parents, grandparents and friends all come, which is why the ballroom is often bigger than the school itself.

You don't have to keep every tradition. Many international classes combine the Czech format with what they know from home: awards, a prom king and queen, a themed dress code. We'll help you design a programme that fits your class.

For parents and teachers

You're welcome to contact us yourself. We'll explain how the costs are split, what the contract covers, how the after-party is secured, and what the school does and doesn't need to do. Everything is in writing and in English.

How it works

From the first e-mail to the last dance

Proms in Prague are planned up to three years ahead. These are the four steps you go through with us, all in English.

  1. A quick call

Send the form or call us. We'll ask how many students are graduating, when you'd like the prom and what you already have in mind.

  2. We meet in person

We always meet, ideally with the students driving it and, if it helps, a teacher or parent. Every school is different and we don't do one-size-fits-all presentations.

  3. A written proposal for your class and school

After the meeting you get everything in writing with a cost per student. It's built to be shown to classmates, parents and the head teacher.

  4. Prom night

Our coordination team is on site for the whole evening. We run the technical side, the programme and the timing. You enjoy the night and make memories that last.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What students, parents and teachers at international schools ask us most often.

Yes. Most of the proms we organise are run by the students themselves, not by the school. You don't need the school to organise anything: a class or a small student committee works with us directly, and parents can sign the contract if the students are under 18. We'll prepare a short written proposal you can show your head teacher so the school knows exactly what is planned and who is responsible.
